charmed by the family-friendly experience
lovely pool relaxing spa great bowling great food
the swimming pool was lovely. i appreciated the spa facilities too. there was a proper little holiday resort vibe. there was lots to see and do around the hotel (i did not have to wander far at all!). i was happy to find the steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi facilities. the indoor bowling and games room were great additions. the location was handy for reaching shops, the beach, and restaurants nearby. it was easy to enjoy my time without any transport challenges. the aztec bar served good food. i found the starlight club's entertainment a nice treat. the staff proved very friendly and helpful with a varied menu, so i felt well looked after during meals. the staff in the aztec restaurant were superb. they were always friendly and hospitable. the food was nicely cooked, served hot, and quickly delivered to our table.
the lifts were a bit slow, but walking was a good alternative.

the reception staff was really good and efficient (they could not do enough!). i was especially happy when they promptly brought extra pillows to my room upon request. the hotel staff were all very friendly.

attentive staff indoor pool good breakfast
the breakfast included a good choice. i found the staff attentive at all times. the indoor swimming pool had lifeguards always present, and that was reassuring.
the corridors needed some decoration work.

loud guests blinking light
The breakfast was acceptable. It had a good choice of items.
the room was HOT, and the extractor fan outside sounded like an aeroplane ALL NIGHT. loud guests stomped down the corridors LATE at night shouting. the incessant blinking of the light on the fire alarm was another issue.

The location provided easy access to the seafront and town centre. The pool offered a refreshing experience. The entertainment each evening was quite enjoyable. Underwhelming Stay
broken lift mobility issue
The location was pretty good.
The lifts were a major issue as one was out of order for the entire weekend. The other one also broke down on the second day, causing a huge struggle with mobility issues on the 4th floor. Elderly people were stuck downstairs after breakfast because they could not reach their rooms!
